CUT & GO climbing skins sets are sold with tip and tail attached. Trim the width of the skins with the MONTANA cutter, to match the exact shape of your skis, while leaving the metal edges exposed.

CONVERT CUT & GO SETS - TO ANY SKI OR SPLITBOARD LENGTH

Cut & Go sets cover a certain length, but can be converted to fit any shorter length.
Rubberbands (with tear resistant reinforced fabric) can be attached to the end of the ski- or splitboard skins.
- Cut off the tail (ski=60mm / splitboard=100mm) from the end of YOUR ski / splitboard.
- Attach the rubberband with rivets (rubberband set).

Our Cut your Skins sets are sold with tip attached. You’ll need to trim the length and the width of the skins so that they match the shape of your skis while leaving the metal edges exposed. You also need to mount the tail attachment with rivets.

TRIM SKINS WITH STANDARD CUTTER

You can trim our standard skin sets with a standard cutter.
Standard skin sets come either with:
Set option #1: Tip PRE attached / Tail SELF attached.
Set option #2: Tip SELF attached / Tail PRE attached.

To trim the width of your skins with a standard cutter:
- Remove the protection foil from your skins.
- Attach the skins, so it’s nice and centralized with the same overhang on both sides.
- Take your standard cutter and trim one side of the skins.
- Lead your knife tight on the edge of the ski from top to bottom.
- Replace your skins, so it’s off-centre by the double of your ski edge.
- Cut off the overhang on the other side of your skins.
- Replace your skins back to the centre of your ski and make sure both of your skis edges are showing.
